In South Africa, markets have only really become popular in the last 3-5 years. But one that has been running and insanely popular over the last, well for as long as I can remember and then some, is the Pretoria Boeremark (Farmer’s Market in Afrikaans). This morning I got a parcel from a very kind man telling me that a very disgruntled chef asked him to deliver it to me. When I first met Justin Bonello a few weeks ago at an Exclusive Books event, I was over-the-moon.
